GEAR COUPLINGS
The Fundamental characteristic of Balaji flexible gear couplings is their high torque to size ratio thus offering a compact assembly capable of both high load and high speed. The design of these couplings is such that it accommodates angular-offset or combined angular-offset misalignment within allowable ratings and permits axle float or thermal expansion connected shafts.

Balaji Cranes & Components are pioneers in the manufacture of GearBoxes & Wheel Assemblies. ‘Balaji’ make super quality Gear Boxes are fabricated out of Steel Plates and stress relieved before boring and assembled with high quality steel pinions of EN-24 and Gears of EN-9, duly heat treated and hardened, with high quality spherical roller bearings.
The Gear Boxes are lapped for 6-8 hours for smooth and soundless operation. The models we manufacture Horizantal and Vertical Sizes, upto 1000+250, to suit any make of Cranes
WHEEL ASSEMBLY
‘Balaji’ make super quality wheel and wheel assemblies are made of EN-9 forged quality suitable for Rail Sizes as per the requirement of clients. Steel cast of IS-2707 Grade III are also be supplied as per requirements of clients.
The EN-9 forged wheels are duly heat treated and hardened, 275-300 bhn. The wheel assemblies can be suppliesd sizes from 160mm dia to 810mm dia.
ROPE DRUM ASSEMBLY
We also manufacture Rope drum Assembly upto 800mm dia, fabricated/seamless tube duly stress relieved, machined with proper left and right grooves to suit the wire rope and supplied with female coupling (Drum Gear coupling), to suit the Output Shaft of the Gear Box.
SNATCH BLOCK (Bottom Block Assembly)
We manufacture Snatch Block Assembly from 1 ton single pulley 2 falls to 50 tons 4 pulleys 8 falls, either with ‘C’ Hook or Ramshan Hook. We provide UT/Proof load/Safe load test certificates.
